Hot Detox Tonic

Ingredients

  • 1 tea bag ginger tea or ½ teaspoon fresh grated ginger
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • few dashes cinnamon
  • few dashes ground turmeric
  • few dashes cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 small slice lemon
  • to taste pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Prepare an extra large mug or a small teapot.
  2. Place the ginger tea bag inside the mug or teapot.
  3. Boil 2 cups of water and pour it into the mug/teapot.
  4. Cover and steep the ginger tea for 7 to 8 minutes.
  5. Remove the tea bag and squeeze it to release more flavor if desired.
  6. Add cinnamon, turmeric, and cayenne, then whisk until combined.
  7. Stir in the apple cider vinegar and add the lemon slice.
  8. Whisk again to infuse the lemon flavor.
  9. Add maple syrup to taste and whisk to combine.
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy.
