The cheese

grated Parmesan cheese

shredded 2% Mozzarella cheese, divided
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and prepare a deep dish 9-inch pie plate with cooking spray.
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef with onion, salt, and pepper until browned, then add garlic and cook for another minute.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes, oregano, and Italian seasoning, then simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Drain the spaghetti and return it to the pot, adding cream cheese to melt and coat the pasta.
- Mix in cottage cheese, Parmesan, and ¼ cup of Mozzarella, then add 2 cups of the meat sauce and combine.
- Transfer the mixture to the pie plate, press down, and smooth the top.
- Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup of Mozzarella on top and bake for 20 minutes until bubbly.
- Let it stand for a few minutes before cutting into 6 wedges and serving with additional meat sauce.
