Gochujang Korean BBQ Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2–3 cloves garlic
  • 1 inch ginger
  • cup gochujang
  • ¼ cup mirin
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 Tbsp avocado oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Simmer avocado oil, garlic, and ginger over low heat for up to 2 minutes.
  2. 2. Add the remaining ingredients and let simmer for 10 minutes to combine.
  3. 3. Remove from heat and store until ready to use.
  4. 4. Add sauce to grilled meats at the end of cooking to prevent burning.
