Slow-Cooker Chicken and Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 cups sweet potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. Place the diced sweet potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. 2. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper and place them on top of the sweet potatoes.
  3. 3. Pour the chicken broth over the chicken and sweet potatoes.
  4. 4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. 5. Once cooked, shred the chicken and mix it with the sweet potatoes before serving.
