Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and prepare an 8-inch square baking pan.
- Beat the eggs in a small bowl and set aside.
- Melt the butter in a large bowl and mix in the sugar, vanilla, cocoa powder, salt, food coloring, and vinegar in order.
- Whisk in the eggs and fold in the flour until just combined.
- Pour most of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, reserving a few tablespoons.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter and top with the reserved brownie batter.
- Swirl the layers together with a knife.
- Bake for 28-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
