Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and prepare an 8x8-inch baking pan.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the flax eggs, sugar, and oil for about 2 minutes, then add water, vanilla, and food coloring.
- Combine the wet and dry mixtures, then stir in the melted chocolate.
- Mix vinegar and baking soda in a small bowl, then add to the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35 minutes.
- Cool the brownies completely, then chill in the fridge.
- For the frosting, beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth, then add vanilla and salt.
- Gradually mix in powdered sugar and cornstarch until desired thickness is reached.
- Chill the frosting for at least 4 hours.
- Frost the cooled brownies and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
