Instructions
- Prepare the butter for frosting and ganache to come to room temperature.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and line an 8-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil.
- Beat the eggs in a small bowl and set aside. Melt the butter in a large bowl and mix in sugar, vanilla, cocoa powder, salt, food coloring, and vinegar.
- Whisk in the eggs and fold in the flour until incorporated. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 22-24 minutes.
- Allow the brownies to cool for 30 minutes, then refrigerate until completely cooled.
- For the frosting, beat the butter until creamy, then mix in confectioners’ sugar and heavy cream until thick. Fold in crushed Oreos and spread over the cooled brownies.
- For the ganache, break chocolate into pieces and heat the heavy cream until boiling. Pour over the chocolate and stir until smooth, then mix in butter.
- Spread the ganache over the frosted brownies and chill for at least 30 minutes before cutting.
- Cut into squares, wiping the knife with a wet paper towel between cuts to keep layers neat.
