Oreo Brownies

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter and 1 ⅓ cups of chocolate chips in the microwave until smooth.
- Let the mixture cool for 5 minutes, then whisk in the sugar, followed by the eggs one at a time, and finally the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in the bowl, stirring gently until just mixed, then fold in ⅓ cup of the remaining chocolate chips.
- Spread half of the brownie batter in the prepared pan and arrange 16 Oreo cookies on top.
- Add the rest of the batter over the Oreo layer and spread evenly.
- Chop the remaining 8 Oreo cookies and sprinkle them along with the last ⅓ cup of chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely, then lift them out of the pan using the parchment paper and cut into squares.
