Basic Blueberry Smoothie

old-fashioned oats (optional)

maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend on low until the mixture thickens, then increase to the highest speed.
- Stop to scrape down the sides or add more milk if necessary.
- Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
- Taste and add maple syrup if desired.
- Divide the smoothie into 2 glasses and serve immediately.
