Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Whisk together almond flour, flaxseed, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Add maple syrup, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter to the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Fold in the shredded carrots and raisins.
- Spoon the thick batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 28-30 minutes until a knife comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely before spreading the frosting on top and topping with chopped nuts.
