Ingredients

The cake

  • 4 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups cocoa powder
  • 2 ½ cups sugar
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ⅓ cups oil
  • 3 ¼ cups milk

The frosting

  • 1 ¼ cups unsalted butter
  • 1 cup Biscoff cookie butter
  • 2 ½ cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F (180C) and prepare three 8-inch springform cake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, mix all dry ingredients together until combined.
  3. Add the wet ingredients and mix until a smooth batter forms.
  4. Distribute the batter evenly among the cake pans and bake for 25-27 minutes.
  5. Let the cakes cool completely on a cooling rack.
  6. For the frosting, beat the butter until fluffy, then add Biscoff and powdered sugar, mixing until smooth.
  7. Layer the cooled cakes with frosting in between each layer and frost the top and sides of the cake.
