Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
- Add sausage and cook until fully browned, then transfer to a bowl, leaving oil behind.
- Cook bacon in the same pot for 3-4 minutes until browned, then add onions and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, cooking for an additional minute.
- Add diced potatoes and pour in chicken broth, bringing the mixture to a boil.
- Cook for 12-14 minutes until potatoes are fork tender.
- Stir in heavy cream and milk, then return sausage to the pot.
- Bring to a light boil, reduce heat, and add kale, simmering for another 10 minutes.
- Serve topped with cooked bacon and parmesan cheese.
