Peach Sangria

Elderflower liquor

fresh herbs (mint, basil, lemon balm, lemon verbena, or lemon thyme)
Instructions
- Make the simple syrup by simmering sugar, water, and a handful of fresh herbs until the sugar dissolves. Let it cool.
- Slice the peaches.
- In a pitcher or large mason jar, combine the peaches, wine, herbed simple syrup, and a splash of Elderflower liquor.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
- If serving to guests, strain out any browning peaches and replace them with fresh sliced peaches and herbs before serving over ice.
