Instructions
- Rinse and dry the chicken thighs, then season with salt and pepper.
- Puree the tomatoes in a food processor.
- Heat the braiser and brown the chicken thighs on both sides, then remove and reserve the juices.
- Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until soft.
- Add the tomato puree and basil, mixing well.
- Return the chicken and its juices to the braiser, cover, and simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes until tender.
- Stir in salt and brown sugar, garnish with parsley, and serve.
