Japanese Curry Fried Rice

Ingredients

The rice

  • 3 cups cooked plain rice

The proteins and vegetables

  • 2 pieces german sausages
  • ½ onion onion
  • 2 tablespoons baby green peas (frozen)
  • 2 tablespoons raisins

The spices and condiments

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon chicken stock powder
  • ½ – 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • ½ tablespoon Japanese mayonnaise
  • to taste salt and pepper

Garnish

  • to taste baby parsley

Instructions

  1. Cut the sausages into small bite-sized pieces.
  2. Chop the onion finely.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over high heat.
  4. Add the chopped sausages and onion to the pan and cook until the sausages are browned.
  5. Stir in chicken stock powder, curry powder, and turmeric powder, mixing well with the sausages and onion.
  6. Add the rice to the frying pan and stir until all grains are coated with curry.
  7. Toss in the raisins and green peas.
  8. Add mayonnaise and stir for a couple of minutes.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Serve in a bowl or plate and garnish with baby parsley.
