Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Combine flour, baking soda, and baking powder in a medium bowl.
- Beat together butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy, then add egg and vanilla.
- Gradually mix in the flour mixture until combined.
- Prepare the chai spice sugar by mixing sugar, cinnamon, ginger, all-spice, and cardamom in a small bowl.
- Roll the dough into two sizes of balls and coat them in chai sugar.
- Place one smaller ball on top of a larger ball on the baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are set, then let cool completely.
- Make the frosting by beating together butter and powdered sugar, then mix in eggnog and nutmeg.
- Frost the cooled cookies and decorate with candies and melted chocolate.
