Instructions
- Activate the yeast in lukewarm milk for about 8 minutes until foamy.
- Mix in eggs, flour, and salt, then knead the dough and add butter until it comes together.
- Grease a bowl, place the dough in it, cover, and let it rise for 30 minutes.
- Blend freeze-dried strawberries and sugar to make strawberry sugar, reserving ¾ cup for frosting.
- Make the filling by mixing butter, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt until it forms a paste.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread the filling, and sprinkle with strawberry sugar.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into 12 equal pieces.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for 45 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Beat cream cheese and butter for frosting, then mix in strawberry sugar, vanilla, heavy cream, and salt.
- Pour frosting over warm rolls and serve.
