Instructions
- 1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt, making a well in the center.
- 2. In a measuring cup, whisk the eggs and add them to the well, followed by the hot water and melted butter.
- 3. Mix until a soft, wet dough forms, then cover with greased plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- 4. Prepare the filling by blending the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and lemon zest until smooth.
- 5. Dust a clean countertop with flour and roll out the chilled dough into a rectangle.
- 6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough and dollop with strawberry jam.
- 7. Fold the dough in half and cut into strips, twisting each strip and rolling into a circle.
- 8. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and cover to rise until puffy.
