Mint White Chocolate Body Butter with Magnesium

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped cacao butter
  • ½ cup liquified coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon liquid magnesium
  • about 2 tablespoons melted cosmetic beeswax
  • as desired wintergreen or peppermint essential oil blend

Instructions

  1. Combine liquified cacao butter and liquified coconut oil in a bowl and refrigerate until solid, about 45 minutes.
  2. Whip the oils in a stand mixer until stiff peaks form, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the liquid magnesium and whip again to combine.
  4. Melt the beeswax and slowly add it to the mixture while the mixer is running.
  5. If the mixture liquifies, refrigerate for 20 minutes until firm again.
  6. Continue whipping until the mixture resembles shortening, about 2 minutes.
  7. Add essential oils to taste.
  8. Transfer to 4-ounce glass jars and enjoy.
