Instructions
- Prepare the marinade by whisking together all marinade ingredients in a bowl.
- Add chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Skewer the marinated chicken thighs onto a vertical spit or an onion half as a base.
- Bake the chicken for 1 to 1½ hours until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
- Serve the sliced chicken with pita, tzatziki, and vegetables or in a bowl.
