Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and combine garlic, basil, crushed tomatoes, butter, salt, sugar, and red pepper flakes in a baking dish.
- Add the sausage, breaking it into pieces, and mix well. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.
- Stir in rigatoni and water, cover tightly with foil, and bake until pasta is very al dente, about 23-27 minutes.
- Remove from oven, uncover, and stir well. Top with mozzarella cheese and broil until melted and browned, about 5-8 minutes.
- Serve topped with basil leaves.
