Skinny Margarita

Ingredients

The Margarita

  • 2 ounces silver tequila
  • 1 ½ ounces fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce fresh orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon light agave nectar
  • 1 lime wedge for garnish

The Rim

  • to taste Kosher salt or coarsely ground sea salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the glass by running a lime slice along the rim and dipping it in salt.
  2. Add ice cubes to the glass and set aside.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, lime juice, orange juice, and agave nectar with ice.
  4. Shake well for about 30 seconds.
  5. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass and garnish with a lime slice.
