Ingredients

For One Margarita

  • Kosher salt to rim the glass
  • ounces silver tequila
  • 3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
  • tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon light agave nectar
  • Ice

For a Pitcher (5 Drinks)

  • 8 ounces silver tequila
  • 8 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 4 ounces freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons light agave nectar

Instructions

  1. Rim the glass with salt by moistening the edge with a lime wedge and dipping it into salt.
  2. Fill the glass with ice and set aside.
  3. For one or two drinks, fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the tequila, lime juice, orange juice, and agave.
  4. Shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds and strain into the rimmed glass over the ice.
  5. For a pitcher, stir together the tequila, lime juice, orange juice, and agave in a pitcher without ice, and serve immediately or refrigerate.
