Ingredients

The noodles and toppings

  • 2 portions fresh ramen noodles
  • 6 slices Chashu
  • 1 piece Ajitama ramen egg
  • 6 slices Naruto fish cakes
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped scallions
  • 2 tbsp shredded nori seaweed
  • ½ tbsp toasted sesame seeds

The tare dipping sauce

  • 2 tbsp roasted sesame seeds paste
  • 2 tbsp Mentsuyu
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions

  1. Cook the fresh ramen noodles according to package instructions, then drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Prepare the toppings by slicing the chashu, boiling the egg, and arranging the naruto fish cakes and scallions.
  3. Make the tare dipping broth by combining sesame seed paste with diluted mentsuyu in a saucepan and heating it until it thickens.
  4. Assemble the dish by placing the noodles in a bowl and arranging the toppings on top, serving the broth in a separate bowl.
  5. Enjoy by dipping the noodles into the broth before eating.
