Maple Fig Tarte Tatin

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Melt the butter and maple syrup in a skillet, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla, then arrange the figs cut side down in the skillet.
- Cover the figs with the puff pastry, pressing down gently and tucking the sides under.
- Make three small cuts in the center of the pastry, place the skillet on a baking sheet, and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it rest for 2 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate.
- Garnish with thyme and blueberries, and serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
