Instructions
- Slice the chicken breasts in half lengthwise to create cutlets and pound them to ½-inch thickness.
- Mix the flour, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning in a bowl, reserving 1 tablespoon for later.
- Dredge the chicken cutlets in the flour mixture, ensuring they are fully covered.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken cutlets for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Deglaze the pan with white wine, scraping up the brown bits.
- Add the reserved flour mixture to the pan and whisk until it thickens.
- Stir in the chicken broth, lemon juice, and capers, then remove from heat.
