Cilantro Lime Hummus

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 (15 oz) cans garbanzo beans
  • ½ tsp salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • 3 tbsp lime juice
  • 1-2 jalapenos
  • ¾ c fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Puree garlic, garbanzo beans, salt, pepper, and lime juice in a food processor or blender.
  2. Add water if the mixture is too thick.
  3. Stir in minced jalapenos and chopped cilantro.
  4. Chill the hummus in the refrigerator until serving.
  5. Serve with pita chips, fresh veggies, or tortilla chips.
