Instructions
- 1. In a large pot, cook the ground beef and turkey over medium-high heat until browned.
- 2. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened.
- 3. Stir in the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, basil, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper, cooking for another minute.
- 4. Add the tomato paste and cook until softened.
- 5. Pour in the beef broth, crushed tomatoes, and pasta sauce, and stir to combine.
- 6. Add the broken lasagna noodles, ensuring they are covered by the liquid.
- 7. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15-18 minutes until the pasta is cooked.
- 8. Remove from heat and stir in the half and half.
- 9. Serve topped with ricotta cheese and parsley if desired.
