Homemade Ricotta Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 gallon whole milk
  • ΒΌ cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup plain yogurt

Instructions

  1. Heat the milk in a pot over medium heat until it reaches a simmer.
  2. Stir in the yogurt and vinegar, then remove from heat.
  3. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to curdle.
  4. Line a colander with cheesecloth and pour the curds into it.
  5. Let it drain for 15-20 minutes, then season as desired.
