Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme

The breading

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour

The cooking fat

  • 4 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Lightly pound the chicken breasts to ensure even thickness.
  2. Combine the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, red pepper flakes, parsley, oregano, thyme, and flour in a bowl and coat the chicken on both sides.
  3. Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat and add the chicken.
  4. Cook the chicken for about 4 minutes on each side until golden brown or it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F.
  5. Remove the chicken from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
