Tomato, Basil, and Bacon Pappardelle

Instructions
- Cut the bacon into small pieces and the cherry tomatoes in half.
- Mince the garlic and slice the basil into thin strips.
- Cook the bacon in a non-stick pan over medium heat for 4-5 minutes until partially cooked.
- Add olive oil, cherry tomatoes, salt, and red pepper flakes to the pan and cook for 8-10 minutes until crispy.
- Boil the pappardelle noodles in salted water according to package directions, minus one minute.
- Lower the heat and stir in the garlic, cooking for one minute.
- Pour in the half and half, stirring until creamy.
- Transfer the cooked noodles to the pan, leaving pasta water in the pot.
- Add basil and parmesan, tossing to combine.
- Add reserved pasta water for creaminess, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot.
