For the pan
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Line a medium sheet pan with parchment paper and grease it with softened butter or cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and protein powder.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and maple syrup.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed; if too thick, add more milk.
- Gently fold in the chopped apples.
- Pour the batter onto the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with white chocolate chips if desired.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until springy and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing into portions.
