Ingredients

The pasta

  • 16 ounces pasta

The sauce

  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ to 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Spray the bottom and sides of the pressure cooker with nonstick cooking spray and pour in the chicken broth.
  2. Whisk together the milk and flour until smooth, then add to the cooker along with the cream, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and pasta, stirring to combine.
  3. Secure the lid and set the valve to seal. Calculate the cooking time based on the pasta package instructions.
  4. Cook on high pressure for the calculated time, then let the pressure naturally release for 10 minutes before quick releasing the remaining pressure.
  5. Stir the pasta well, then add the Parmesan cheese and mix until combined. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve immediately.
