Ingredients

  • 8 oz uncooked small-medium shape pasta
  • 13 oz cherry or grape tomatoes, halved
  • 7 oz drained fresh Mozzarella cheese pearls
  • ¼ cup sliced fresh basil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup light balsamic vinaigrette dressing

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions and drain.
  2. 2. Rinse the pasta under cold water until cooled.
  3. 3. In a serving bowl, combine the cooled pasta, tomatoes, Mozzarella, and basil.
  4. 4. Sprinkle salt and pepper, then add the balsamic vinaigrette.
  5. 5. Stir to mix and coat the ingredients.
  6. 6. Refrigerate if not serving immediately, and consider adding the dressing just before serving if made ahead.
