Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen cantaloupe chunks
  • ½ cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • ¼ cup silver tequila
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons Cointreau
  • 1-2 tablespoons agave or honey
  • to taste salt (for the rims, optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cantaloupe by cutting a thin piece of rind off both ends so it can stand upright, then cut it in half horizontally and remove the seeds.
  2. Scoop out the flesh of the cantaloupe and set it aside, saving the halves to serve the drinks.
  3. In a blender, combine the cantaloupe flesh, coconut milk, tequila, lime juice, Cointreau, and agave or honey, blending until smooth.
  4. If necessary, add ice to achieve a slushy consistency.
  5. Pour the mixture into the cantaloupe halves and serve.
