Fire Roasted Artichokes

Instructions
- Remove the stem of the artichoke, leaving about an inch.
- Trim the sharp tips of the bracts using kitchen shears.
- Steam the artichoke for 20 minutes in boiling water.
- Let the artichoke cool, then slice it in half.
- Scoop out the choke and purple flesh using a spoon.
- Brush both sides of the artichoke with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Grill the artichoke halves on medium heat for about 10 minutes, then flip and grill for an additional 5-10 minutes until tender.
- Serve with desired dipping sauces.
