Ingredients

Cookie Dough

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup Land O Lakes Unsalted Butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • cups dark brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • cups chopped candied pecans
  • cups chocolate chips
  • to taste extra sea salt for sprinkling

Cinnamon Sugar Mixture

  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a medium bowl.
  3. Cream the butter and sugars together for about 3 minutes, then add the eggs and vanilla and mix until combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, then stir in the candied pecans and chocolate chips.
  5. Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Form the cookie dough into balls and roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  6. Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them, and sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden brown. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
