Ingredients

The fish

  • pounds white fish
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

The seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Dry the fish and let it come to room temperature for 15 minutes.
  2. Drizzle melted butter on both sides of the fish.
  3. Combine the spices and sprinkle them over the fish, seasoning both sides.
  4. Heat a skillet on medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter.
  5. Cook the fish for 2-3 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  6. Remove the fish and set aside to cool.
  7. Warm the tortillas as per package instructions.
