Instructions
- Whisk together vegetable oil, lime juice, garlic, chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Marinate the fish in the mixture for 20 to 30 minutes.
- For grilling, preheat the grill to medium-high, brush with oil, and grill the fish for about 3 minutes per side.
- For baking, preheat the oven to 400°F, place fish on a baking sheet, and bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
- For stovetop cooking, heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add oil, and cook the fish for about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
- While the fish cooks, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, and garlic powder for the sauce.
- Break the cooked fish into pieces and layer over warmed tortillas.
- Top with cabbage, avocado, cilantro, cheese if using, and drizzle with the fish taco sauce.
