Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tablespoons flax seed
  • ¼ to 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • teaspoon almond extract (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender in the order listed.
  2. Blend on low until the mixture starts to combine, then increase to the highest speed.
  3. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness or almond flavor as desired.
  4. Blend again if adjustments were made and enjoy while cold.
