Instructions
- 1. In a large pot over medium heat, sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
- 2. Add the chicken broth, heavy cream, and chopped broccoli, then bring to a boil and simmer until the broccoli is tender.
- 3. Gradually add the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring constantly until melted.
- 4. Optionally, remove a third of the broccoli pieces, puree the remaining soup, and then return the reserved pieces for texture.
