Ingredients

  • ½ box Devil's Food cake mix (15.25 oz box)
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup milk (2% recommended)
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 2 units eggs

Instructions

  1. Combine cake mix with sour cream, vegetable oil, and milk until creamy.
  2. Add vanilla and stir for 10 seconds.
  3. Beat in the eggs until the batter is smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Spoon the batter into cupcake liners, filling them ¾ full.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 18-20 minutes.
  6. Remove from the pan and let cool on wire racks.
  7. Frost and serve.
