Instructions
- Prepare the simple syrup by combining ½ cup sugar and ½ cup water in a saucepan and heating until the sugar dissolves. Let it cool.
- Juice enough limes to yield 1 cup of freshly squeezed lime juice.
- In a 4-cup liquid measure, combine the lime juice, tequila, Grand Marnier, and simple syrup.
- Pour salt onto a shallow plate. Rim the glasses with a lime wedge and dip them into the salt.
- Fill each glass with ice and pour the margarita mixture over the ice.
- Garnish with a squeeze of lime.
