Instructions
- Cook the bacon pieces in a large soup pot over medium heat until brown and crisp.
- Add olive oil and diced onion, cooking until the onion softens.
- Whisk in flour, cooking for 1 to 2 minutes without burning it.
- Add broccoli, broth, milk, salt, and pepper, bringing to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
