Pasta with Pumpkin Alfredo

chopped fresh sage (or 1 teaspoon dried leaves)

fresh thyme (or ½ teaspoon dried leaves)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
- In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the finely minced onion and sauté until soft, about a couple of minutes.
- Add chicken broth and herbs, and deglaze the pan to remove any bits stuck to the bottom.
- Whisk in the pumpkin until combined.
- Stir in the alfredo sauce and heat through, adjusting salt and pepper as needed.
- Serve the sauce over the prepared pasta and top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and extra herbs.
