Hoisin Sriracha Chicken

Ingredients

The chicken and marinade

  • lbs chicken thighs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, peeled and minced
  • tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • ½ tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 pinch salt

Cooking ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • to taste white sesame (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine chicken with garlic, ginger, hoisin sauce, sriracha sauce, honey, soy sauce, and salt in a bowl and marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the marinated chicken skin side down and pan-fry until browned on both sides.
  4. Add the reserved marinade to the skillet and reduce heat to low.
  5. Cook until the sauce thickens and the chicken is fully cooked.
  6. Garnish with white sesame and serve immediately with steamed rice.
