Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Combine salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a bowl and set aside.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat, then add garlic and ginger, cooking until fragrant.
- Add red pepper to the butter and whisk together.
- Stir in sriracha, honey, rice vinegar, and soy sauce, then let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Split the chicken wings into drummettes and wingettes, drying them with a paper towel.
- Season the wings with the seasoning mixture and place them on a wire rack over a baking sheet.
- Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove wings from the oven and coat them with the honey sriracha sauce, then bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Allow wings to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
