Honey Garlic Chicken Wings

Ingredients

The wings

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • ⅓ – ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • as needed cooking oil spray

The sauce

  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Pat the chicken dry and place it in a bowl or bag.
  3. Add flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the chicken and coat well.
  4. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and place the wings on it, spritz with cooking oil.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, then flip the wings and spritz again, baking for another 10 minutes until crispy.
  6. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine honey, garlic, smoked paprika, ginger, and soy sauce.
  7. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  8. Remove the wings from the oven and drizzle with the honey garlic sauce.
