Ingredients

The chicken wings

  • 2 ½ pounds Chicken Wings
  • ¼ cup Flour or Gluten-Free Flour
  • to taste Sea Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper
  • as needed Olive Oil or Avocado Oil Spray

The sauce

  • ½ cup Honey
  • cup Soy Sauce or Coconut Aminos
  • 4 cloves Garlic (mashed)
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger (grated)
  • 1 tablespoon Tapioca Flour, Arrowroot Starch, or Corn Starch
  • ½ teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes

For garnishing

  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Dry the chicken wings thoroughly with a paper towel.
  3. In a bowl, combine the wings with flour, sea salt, and black pepper, tossing until coated.
  4. Place the coated wings on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Spray the wings with oil and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Flip the wings and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
  7. While the wings bake, prepare the sauce by combining all sauce ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
  8. Stir the sauce for 6-7 minutes until thickened, then set aside.
  9. After baking, broil the wings for 2 minutes to achieve a golden color.
  10. Remove wings from the oven, pour the sauce over them, and coat well.
  11. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired, serve, and enjoy.
