Instructions
- Prepare the mango salsa by combining all the salsa ingredients in a medium bowl and set aside.
- Slice the tofu into 4 slabs, then cut each slab into 4 thin strips to get 16 strips.
- Whisk together the flour, ale, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, ensuring it's at least ⅛-inch deep.
- Dip tofu strips into the batter to coat and place them in the skillet, cooking in batches if necessary.
- Cook the tofu for about 2 minutes on each side until browned and crispy, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
- Assemble the tacos by placing 3 or 4 tofu strips in each tortilla and topping with avocado slices and mango salsa.
